1. Overview
MALMART INDIA PROJECTS PRIVATE LIMITED ("Malmart") operates in the construction and building materials sector. Due to the nature of our products, all sales are generally considered final. This policy outlines the limited circumstances under which cancellations and returns may be considered.
2. No Refund Policy – Standard Rule
Malmart does NOT offer monetary refunds under any circumstances. All payments made for orders placed on the Platform are non-refundable once the order has been processed and dispatched.
This policy applies to:
All construction and building materials (cement, steel, tiles, aggregates, etc.)
Bulk orders and contract purchases
Customised or cut-to-size materials
Materials that have been partially or fully installed or used
3. Cancellation Policy
3.1 Before Dispatch
Cancellations may be requested before the order has been dispatched. To request a cancellation:
Contact us at info@malmart.in or +91 99660 41048 immediately after placing the order
Provide your Order ID and reason for cancellation
Cancellations are accepted at Malmart's sole discretion
If a cancellation is approved before dispatch, any amount paid will be issued as a credit note or store credit for future purchases — no cash refunds will be made.
3.2 After Dispatch
Once an order has been dispatched, cancellations are not accepted. The order will be delivered as confirmed.
4. Damaged Materials – Exception Policy
In the exceptional circumstance where supplied materials arrive in a damaged condition, Malmart will consider a return under the following terms:
4.1 Eligibility for Return
Damage must be visible and reported at the time of delivery to the delivery personnel
Alternatively, damage may be reported within 24 hours of delivery by contacting info@malmart.in
You must provide clear photographic/video evidence of the damaged materials
Materials must be in the same condition as received — unused, unaltered, and in original packaging where applicable
4.2 Return Process
1. Contact Malmart customer support at info@malmart.in or +91 99660 41048 within 24 hours of delivery
2. Share your Order ID, photographs of the damaged items, and a brief description of the damage
3. Our team will review your claim within 3–5 business days
4. If the claim is approved, Malmart will arrange pickup of the damaged materials at no cost to you
5. Replacement materials or a credit note will be issued upon successful pickup and verification
4.3 Resolution Options (Damaged Goods Only)
Replacement of the damaged items with equivalent materials — subject to stock availability
Issuance of a store credit/credit note equivalent to the value of the damaged items — to be used against future orders on the Platform
No cash or bank refund will be issued under any circumstances, including for damaged goods.
4.4 Non-Eligible Damage Claims
Damage reported after 24 hours of delivery
Damage caused during customer handling, storage, or installation
Minor variations in shade, texture, or colour within acceptable manufacturing tolerances
Claims without supporting photographic/video evidence
5. Credit Notes
Any credit notes issued by Malmart:
Are valid for 90 days from the date of issuance
Can be applied against future orders on the Platform
Are non-transferable and have no cash value
Cannot be combined with other promotional credits unless specified
6. Disputes
If you believe your claim has been incorrectly assessed, you may escalate the matter by writing to info@malmart.in with your Order ID and a detailed description. Our senior team will review and respond within 7 business days. All disputes are subject to resolution under Indian law in the courts of Secunderabad / Hyderabad, Telangana
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Transaction records may be retained for up to 7 years in accordance with Indian accounting and tax laws.
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure. These include SSL/TLS encryption, secure servers, and restricted staff access. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
