Applications Repair Mortar is suitable for : Concrete repair work Crack filling & Leveling General repair applications Availability Product available in 20kg bags Recommenced Water Addition Ratio One 20kg bag of Repair Mortar requires approximately 3 - 4 litres of pure water to provide workable mix. Directions for Use Place the required amount of Dry-Mix Wall Plaster into a mixer or onto a non-absorbant surface. Add potable water gradually ensuring that it does not wash away any cement and mix thoroughly to ensure an even and consistant mix. Note: Add only enough water to make a workable mix, and do not add excessive water as this will weaken the Dry-Mix Wall Plaster. The recomended amount of water should be added to ensure that the plaster is moist enough to bond to the wall surface, but not so wet that it sags or runs down. Remove all loose flaking materials expose the surface completely and free from laitance, grease, oils, mould release agents curing membranes, paints, coatings etc. It is recommended to wet the area to be repaired prior to use complete all plumbing or other works in the area. Fill all voids, corners etc. or any other defect in the surface prior to starting the work. Dampen the work area with water before application The application should be in layers each layer should not exceed more than 5mm in thickness. Allow first coat to initially set and commence application of second coat, additional layers if required to be applied as above. For external sand finish, sponge the partially set mortar in circular movements until desired sand finished surface is attained All tools and equipment should be cleaned with water after use Do not re-temper the mortar if it stiffens. Discard the stiffened product and make a new mortar.
